Target Groups

Target Groups bundle related targets so you can scan, schedule and report on them as one unit - e.g. "all staging APIs", "PCI-scope apps", or a product's microservices.
Use cases
- Bulk scanning - launch a scan across every target in the group at once.
- Scoped scheduling - a recurring scan that always covers the whole group.
- Reporting & posture - roll a group's risk into one number for an owner.
- Saved views - a stable axis for filtering findings.
How it works
- Create a group and add targets (or auto-include by tag / application).
- Apply group-level scan defaults (profile, auth, excludes) that targets inherit.
- Trigger or schedule scans on the group; results flow to each target's posture.
Groups complement Applications (the risk-ownership unit) and Projects (the product hierarchy): a group is a flat, cross-cutting bundle for an operation, not a place in the asset tree.
